 | I'm going on vacation |
I am taking a much needed vacation and will not be able to
10th. For my current clients, I have an awesome network
of pet sitters I can refer you to if you need someone
during this time.

| New Photos and New Photo Prices |
Hope summer is treating everyone well! I'm keeping very
mouth. I've added some more photos to my Gallery. I've
also lowered my photo print/jpeg prices and have added
the option of ordering 4X6 prints. Remember, if you want
any size print, all you have to do
is ask and we'll figure a fair price.

Due to the exorbitant gas prices, HPH has had to increase
the rates. I apologize for any inconvenience. As of
3/12/08, those of you who have up and coming services,

reviews and comments.
Just click on Contact Us,
leave me a comment, and
I'll post it on the About
Us/Comments page. If
you've left a review on
Yelp.com, you may want to send that to me again.
Yelp.com is a very unreliable place to list your business or
place a review. They have decided to not fix a problem
with their "spam filter". Basically, if you leave a legitimate
review, but don't visit the site often enough or leave other
reviews within a couple weeks, your review is marked as
spam and it disappears. I've had four 5-star reviews
completely disappear after clients took the time to sign up
and leave a review. Yelp.com is apologetically
unapologetic, if you know what I mean. Here's just a
small exert of their explanation:
"Our system uses a certain level of spam filters to ensure that untrustworthy reviews
(whether good or bad) don't over-power any business. Our system only looks for trust
rating (this is loosely based on a users number of reviews, overall participation or use
of the site, etc). Yelp is all about keeping the reviews as real as possible to make
sure that there are not spammers who either write a ton of 5-star or a ton of 1-star
reviews to unjustly help or hurt a business. I hope you understand that we in no way
intend to discredit the reviews for your business as spam - our filters simply go on
trust, not specific reviews."
"While we can't evaluate individual cases or re-instate specific reviews, we certainly
appreciate your feedback and are continually striving to improve the service for you
and your customers."
Again, I am so sorry that we are losing some of your legitimate reviews in this process
- we are doing the absolute best we can to ensure that the site is as spam-less as
humanly possible! "
See what I mean by apologetically unapologetic. This is
not a reliable business review site and I give it two thumbs
down.

For overnight stays I take pictures of
your pets and send you a small JPEG
of each pet to your email. If you like
what you see, I can either make prints,
make framed prints, send high quality
JPEGs via email, or burn a cd with high
quality JPEGS. More about portraits
